Of all the places Jacob and Kim could meet, it just had to be in their AP Spanish 5 class at Catonsville High School. Jacob was a senior, 17, and Kim was a sophomore, 15. The first day of Spanish class, like all classes, had a seating chart. Kim got to class first, looked at the chart, and found her seat. She recognized most students' names on the chart, but could not quite remember the face of the person assigned to her left. As more students piled in, the seats started to fill, except for the one to her left... and then Jacob walked in. He looked at the seating chart and took his assigned seat next to Kim. As all legendary love stories go, the rest is history!

De todos los lugares donde Jacob y Kim podían conocerse, irónicamente fue en una clase de español en Catonsville High School; Jacob tenía 17 años, en su último año de escuela secundaria y Kim tenía 15, en su segundo año.
